Where to go?

UK

You will be delighted by the wildlife of the Scottish Hebrides, birdlife abounds, and you can expect to see a variety of species including the magnificent white-tailed sea eagle and golden eagle. In addition, whales, dolphins and porpoise are always present in Hebridean waters. Further south you can cruise the coastline of Pembrokeshire where you will get the chance to see some amazing wildlife, including puffins, seals, dolphins and whales. An evening boat trip gives you the opportunity to see puffins and shearwaters as they return to their burrows. Don’t forget your camera!

Europe

You don’t have to travel great distances to see wonderful wildlife as there is plenty on offer in Europe. Sweden's huge tracts of wilderness are home to an exciting variety of species, including wolverine, wolf, golden eagle and lynx. The largest predator is the brown bear, of which, there are about 2500 in the wild in Sweden. The magnificent and un-spoilt landscape of the Ariège where there is an abundance of rare wildlife and plants and stunning scenery is a great destination for wildlife watchers. Ariège is situated in Southern France and is home to wildcats, pine martens, marmots and mouflon to name but a few. Experience one of the last remaining true wilderness areas in Europe in majestic central Romania, where people live in harmony with a rich variety of rare wildlife, including Europe's highest concentration of bears, wolves and lynx.

And Beyond

On the western shores of Hudson Bay in Canada, lies the town of Churchill which plays host to a unique wildlife spectacle in October every year. Large numbers of Polar Bears congregate to wait for the ice to freeze further out in the Bay providing one of the best opportunities anywhere in the world to view and photograph these beautiful creatures. If you would prefer warmer climes, then visiting Borneo to see Orangutans is another great wildlife choice. Other fantastic trips include African safaris, whale watching in the USA or bird watching in Taiwan.
