Where to go?
UK
A multi activity holiday in the Lake District is a good way to explore some of England’s most beautiful countryside. See the best of the mountains and lakes whilst participating in some fantastic activities like canoeing, climbing, abseiling and gorge scrambling. In the Highlands of Scotland you can combine sailing, sea-kayaking or canoeing with walking and hiking whilst exploring a wild and beautiful part of the world.
Europe
The Julian Alps in Slovenia provide a stunning backdrop for a fabulous range of adventure sports. Try out white water rafting, canoeing and mountain biking as well as trekking and canyoning. The Spanish Pyrenees have become a mecca for adventure sports fans and no wonder. You can walk, kayak, canyon, hydrospeed and negotiate river rapids and if that's not enough, the scenery is great too.
And Beyond
Whistler is the ideal winter holiday destination and although most famous as a ski resort, there is plenty more to do than just the obvious. To celebrate hosting the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, Tourism Whistler has come up with 2010 things to do in and around the town. You may not get through the full 2010 in your activity holiday but you could make a start with winter ziptrek, snowmobiling, snow shoeing, a husky safari and an evening snowcat fondue.
