energetic: Canoeing/Kayaking

...great fun and easy to get the hang of.

This is one of the most popular sports in Europe and not surprisingly, has something for every one. For those of you who haven’t tried it yet and might be wondering what the difference is between a canoe and kayak - canoes are open and have a paddle with a single blade. Kayaks are closed and vary in shape and size depending on their use. They have a paddle with a blade on both ends. The kayak is ideal for surfing white water. Sea kayaking is a fantastic way to see beautiful coastlines and wildlife. Canoeing and Kayaking is great fun, and easy to get the hang of and makes a good choice for an activity holiday.
